Shahil to participate in World Chess
Online Staff/GUWAHATI, Aug 22: promising chess player of Assam Shahil Dey will represent India in the World Cadets Chess Championship 2017 (Under 10) which will kick off at Pocos de Caldas, Brazil tomorrow. Shahil, who already left for Brazil to take part in the competition, was selected in Indian squad for his superb performance in National Under 9 Chess Championship last year where he won the crown. Shahil has been seeded 16th in the tournament based on his International Rating. Altogether 4 Indian are representing India in this 11 round swiss league event.
