Rajjakuddin hits ton
Online Staff/GUWAHATI, Oct 28: His batting was just like display of crackers in Diwali. Rajjakuddin, one of the promising cricketers of the state, hit 22 boundaries and four sixes on way to score a century against Saurashtra in the CK Nayudu Cricket tournament match at Rajkot today.
Assam although conceded 77 runs first innings lead but Rajjauddin’s innings was the most discussed matter in the ground.
Chasing Saurashtra’s first innings total 436, Assam scored 359 in the first innings. Rajjak took 110 balls to score those runs. Mujibur Ali (90) and Abhisekh Thakuri (62) were the other major contributors in Assam 1st innings.
Saurashtra scored 130-4 in their second innings at stumps on day III and they are now leading by 207 runs.
